Allow Charis to combine your two loves of women and literature in our first ever, Speed-Read-Dating event on the last Saturday of May at your favorite, swanky Amsterdam Avenue Bar, Bellissima.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and nametags, score cards, MC and mood will be provided.
The only ingredient missing is You! So come primped, bright-eyed and prepared to meet your literary soulmate!
Who better to offer this service than Charis, in whom you've placed your trust to bring you the best books, most vibrant authors and incredible programming!

You must register to attend this event (you can do so online or in person at the bookstore). We are asking for a $20.00 donation from participants to support the work of Charis Circle.

Charis is planning to host several of these events, each targeted to a specific audience. This time we are limiting participation to women who date women (trans-inclusive), ages 30 and up.

Bellissima is located in Midtown at 560 Amsterdam Ave, Suite B, Atlanta GA 30306.

About Charis Circle and Charis Books & More:

For 35 years Charis Books & More, the oldest and largest feminist bookstore in the South, has played host to legendary programs and events.   In 1996, we created a separate non-profit, Charis Circle, to continue and expand our program offerings. Together, Charis Books and Charis Circle create a forum for free thought, independent voices, and unique expression. As a non-profit, Charis Circle is funded mainly through individual giving efforts and foundation gifts. Charis Circle rents space from Charis Books and More to house our office, as well as to hold our programs and provide the only community feminist space in Atlanta that is open to the public 7 days a week. Charis Books & More is a for-profit, independent business that is funded through book sales.
